How do we do this?
We take an integrated approach to our safety management, and only deploy fully trained personnel who undertake preliminary and operational risk assessments for all our assignments.

This ensures we are across all aspects of your project before we arrive on site. Our adaptability helps us keep the site safe no matter what, We constantly monitor site conditions so we can anticipate, and quickly respond to any changes.

Health & Safety

Metro Traffic Management's Safety Management System is certified to AS/NZS 4801 and is built around continual improvement of our safety policies, processes and procedures. It includes training and induction for our employees and sub-contractors, with regular internal and independent external audits and reviews.
All staff are responsible for communicating our safety policy and procedures, and through education and training, ensuring everyone is using current best practices.
Our staff are provided with compulsory internal training aimed at:
•    Ensuring workers and the general public are properly protected
•    Creating a proactive culture around OH & S, and
•    Encouraging innovation and learning.

Environmental

Metro Traffic Management 's Environmental Management System is certified to AS/NZS 14001. Measuring, analysing, reviewing and monitoring our environmental management processes enables continuous improvement. Everything from erosion and sedimentation control methods to habitat protection practices are monitored, reviewed and adapted to meet site specific parameters, ensuring we always deliver the best possible solution.
All staff are responsible for ensuring we are up to date on our environmental protection, waste minimisation, water conservation, and greenhouse gas reduction policies, and are competent to put them into practice.
Training and specialised site inductions ensure staff stay up to date with the latest environmental management techniques. Our policy is that all staff should be able to identify and manage environmental issues, and be vigilant in preventing damaging incidents.
Metro Traffic Management has an outstanding record in environmental management, however as new projects create new challenges, we are constantly developing new techniques and approaches.
